ITIL MP is 1 of the 2 ITIL 4 streams and it is for IT people or everyone who wish to get involved in IT working within technology and digital teams across businesses. ITIL 4 MP stream provides practical and technical knowledge about how to run successful IT enabled services, teams and workflows. It includes 4 modules:

• ITIL 4 Specialist Create, Deliver and Support
• ITIL 4 Specialist Drive Stakeholder Value
• ITIL 4 Specialist High Velocity IT
• ITIL 4 Strategist Direct Plan and Improve

To get the ITIL MP certification, you must complete all those modules but take in account that the ITIL Strategist Direct Plan and Improve is an universal module, meaning that if you get it, it is also valid for the other stream the ITIL 4 Strategic Leader.

If you are already an ITIL V3 Expert or if you have the 17 credits of the ITIL V3, you can transition easily to become an ITIL 4 Managing Professional by taking the ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition Module.
