ITIL SL is 1 of the 2 ITIL 4 streams and it recognizes the value of ITIL, not just for IT operations, but for all digitally-enabled services. ITIL 4 SL stream demonstrates that you have a clear understanding of how IT influences and directs business strategy. It includes 2 modules:

• ITIL 4 Strategist Direct Plan and Improve
• ITIL 4 Leader Digital and IT Strategy

To get the ITIL SL certification, you must complete all those modules but take in account that the ITIL Strategist Direct Plan and Improve is an universal module, meaning that if you get it, it is also valid for the other stream the ITIL 4 Managing Professional.
